Frequently Asked Questions
How do I log a symptom?
Tap the "+" button or the Symptoms tab, adjust the pain level slider (0-10), select the pain location, check any additional symptoms (bloating, gas, etc.), and tap Save. You can also add optional notes.
How do I log food?
Go to the Food tab and tap "+" to add a new entry. Enter your meal, select the meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack), and tag any potential triggers like dairy, gluten, or spicy foods.
What are the trigger tags?
Trigger tags help you categorize foods that commonly cause IBS symptoms: Dairy, Gluten, Caffeine, Spicy, Alcohol, Fried foods, and High-FODMAP. Tag your meals to discover patterns over time.
How do I view my insights?
Tap the Insights tab to see your symptom trends, average pain levels, and food correlations. Watch a short ad or go ad-free to unlock detailed weekly and monthly insights.
How do I export my data?
Go to Settings and tap "Export Data". Choose between CSV (spreadsheet format for personal analysis) or PDF Report (professional document for doctors). You get one free export per week, or watch an ad for additional exports.
What's in the PDF report?
The PDF report includes a summary of your tracking period, pain level trends chart, symptom breakdown, potential food triggers identified, and a detailed activity log. It's designed to share with your healthcare provider.
Can I edit or delete entries?
Yes! Tap any entry in your History or Calendar view to see details. From there, you can edit the entry or delete it entirely.
How do I set up reminders?
Go to Settings and find the Reminders section. You can set daily reminders for logging symptoms and meals at times that work for your schedule.
How do I remove ads?
Go to Settings and tap "Remove Ads". This is a one-time purchase that permanently removes all advertisements and gives you unlimited access to insights and exports.
Is my data backed up?
All data is stored locally on your device for privacy. We recommend keeping your device backed up through iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android). You can also export your data regularly as a personal backup.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting the app will permanently remove all your data. We recommend exporting your data before uninstalling if you want to keep a copy.
