TL;DR: We don't collect your personal data. All your brew data stays on your device. We only use ads to keep the app free.
1. Information We Collect
We do NOT collect any personal information.
Kombucha Tracker works completely offline. All your data, including:
- Batch records (names, dates, tea types, flavors)
- Timer settings and notifications
- Photos of your brews and SCOBYs
- App preferences
...is stored only on your device and never transmitted anywhere.
2. Advertising
To keep the app free, we display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
- Device information (model, OS version)
- IP address (for general location)
- Ad interaction data
This data is processed by Google AdMob according to their Privacy Policy.
Remove ads with a one-time $1.99 purchase to stop all AdMob data collection.
3. Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage (screens viewed, features used). This helps us improve the app.
- Anonymous usage statistics
- Device type and OS version
- Crash reports

4. No Account Required
Kombucha Tracker doesn't require account creation, email, or login. We have no user database.
5. Your Data, Your Control
Since all data is stored locally on your device:
- Backup: Data is NOT backed up to the cloud
- Delete: Delete all data anytime from Settings
- Uninstall: Removes all app data permanently
6. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
