Your Privacy Matters: All your TMJ and bruxism data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or share any personal health information.

TMJ Relief ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our app.

Data Storage

All pain logs, exercise records, trigger entries, and night guard logs are stored locally on your device using SQLite database. Your data is:

  • Never uploaded to external servers
  • Never shared with third parties
  • Never accessible to us or anyone else
  • Completely under your control

Analytics & Advertising

The free version of the App includes advertisements provided by Google AdMob and basic analytics through Firebase Analytics. These services may collect:

  • Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
  • App usage statistics (screens viewed, session duration)
  • Anonymous identifiers for advertising purposes

When you purchase the Remove Ads option or watch a rewarded ad for temporary ad-free access, advertising services are disabled accordingly.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Health Data

TMJ Relief stores health-related information including:

  • Pain levels, areas, and stress levels
  • TMJ exercise completion records
  • Night guard usage logs
  • Trigger entries (Stress, Caffeine, Gum Chewing, Hard Food, Poor Posture, Alcohol, Poor Sleep)
  • Timestamps and time-of-day for each entry

This sensitive health data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases (Remove Ads, Pro features) processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not handle or store any payment information. All transactions are managed by the respective platform.

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • Data persists as long as you keep the app installed
  • Deleting the app removes all your data permanently
  • We have no ability to recover deleted data

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally and we don't operate servers, there is no data collection infrastructure.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

  • View or delete any pain, trigger, exercise, or guard entry
  • Clear all data in Settings
  • Uninstall the app to permanently remove all data

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
