Frequently Asked Questions

How do I log TMJ pain?

From the Home tab, tap "Log Pain". Select your pain areas (Jaw, Temple, Neck, Headache, Ear), adjust the intensity slider, set your stress level, and save. The time of day is detected automatically.

What exercises are included?

The app includes 6 guided TMJ exercises: Jaw Opening, Lateral Movement, Resisted Opening, Tongue Position, Jaw Relaxation, and Neck Stretch. Each exercise has a built-in timer with rep and hold-time guidance.

How do I track my night guard?

From the Home tab, tap "Log Night Guard". Record whether you wore your guard and your morning pain level. Over time, this helps you see how your guard affects your symptoms.

What triggers can I track?

You can log 8 trigger types: Stress, Caffeine, Gum Chewing, Hard Food, Poor Posture, Alcohol, Poor Sleep, and Other. Optionally track your pain intensity after encountering a trigger.

What does Pro unlock?

Pro ($4.99 one-time) unlocks the Insights tab with Pain Trends, Trigger Analysis, Stress vs Pain correlation, Guard Effectiveness tracking, and Exercise Streaks. It also removes all ads.

How do I remove ads?

You have two options: purchase Remove Ads ($2.99) for permanent ad removal, or watch a rewarded ad in Settings for 90 minutes of ad-free use. Pro ($4.99) also includes ad removal.

How do I view my history?

The Calendar tab shows a color-coded monthly view of all your entries. Tap any day to see that day's pain logs, triggers, exercises, and guard usage.

Is my data backed up?

All data is stored locally on your device for privacy. We recommend keeping your device backed up through iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) to protect your data.

Can I restore my purchases on a new device?

Yes. Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases" to restore any previously purchased Pro or Remove Ads features via your App Store or Google Play account.
